HSE students and staff sent Mother’s Day postcards created by the HSE Art and Design School to their mothers as part of the ‘Letter to Mom’ charity event.

This year, the Mother’s Day is celebrated in Russia on November 26. Several days before the holiday, on November 10, a charity event ‘Letter to Mom’ was organized at the Higher School of Economics. HSE students and staff were given the opportunity to sign postcards and include greetings to their mothers, with event organizers taking the responsibility to send them out. Students from HSE.Life, a student publication, and volunteers helped to carry out the event.

The postcards proved so popular that many visitors took them to deliver to mothers in person, or to keep as souvenirs. In addition to greetings, some participants added their own drawings to the postcards.
