On April 6 Tsunyan L. (Professor of Heilongjiang University, China) took part in the "Culture matters" research seminar with the report on "Cross-cultural study of the attitude towards the love of Chinese and Russian students".

Love as a special, exclusive form of relationships, attracted people's attention always, however, for a long time remained the subject of research not of science but of literature and art. In psychology, love has long been considered an "unscientific" problem. Until now, the psychology of love remains relatively undeveloped by the branch of psychology and cross-cultural in particular. The relevance of the topic is due to the growing interest in the question of love as a key to understanding the deep foundations of human culture. The report presented the results of a cross-cultural study of attitudes toward the love of Chinese and Russian students.
